Job Description
As part of the Consumer & Business Banking (C&BB) Finance team, you will be a key finance partner for the Consumer Finance Line of Business in providing critical financial insights to maintain and uplift focus on business performance, undertaking critical evaluation of strategic options to enable informed decisions made on a timely manner, providing coaching and training to more junior members of the team, and leading the team in improving quality of key finance controls and driving process efficiency in key finance reporting and modelling.Lead the development and execution of financial planning and forecasting strategies.Formulate the risks & opportunities to financial forecasts into actionable recommendationsManage balance sheet, revenue and scheme fee & incentive forecast models to inform outlook on Consumer Finance Line of Business performanceProvide strategic recommendations to support business objectivesDevelop and improve reporting & analytics modelsOversee month end process, reporting and articulation of performance outcomesDrive continuous improvements to financial control and operational risk management
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Understanding of consumer finance banking products, revenue streams and competitive landscapePrevious experience within the financial services industry. Knowledge and experience in the credit card, debit card or payments industry is preferredExperience with investment return analysis, methodology & models
