Full job descriptionThe Focus Group Sandton, South Africa 04 December 2025 Mid / Senior 0 - 0 Full Time Cost to Company 5 years - 10 years Skills Draftworx Financial Accounting Cognos Account Reconciliation Financial Reporting Taxation MS Office VAT processing Budgeting Forecasting Industries Real Estate Property Management Job Descriptiona { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; }We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to maintain accurate financial and tax reporting while managing and implementing robust accounting and reporting controls.Key Responsibilities:Prepare annual financial statements for multiple entities and consolidated group statements.Submit IT14s, provisional tax returns, and dividend tax returns via e-filing.Reconcile and submit VAT and withholding tax returns for both South African and foreign entities.Compile annual budgets and forecasts.Review monthly bank reconciliations and process general journal entries.Manage trial balances and perform consolidations for all reporting entities.Prepare monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.Perform month-end and year-end system closures.Submit quarterly reporting packs and liaise with internal and external auditors.Review and authorize payments on banking systems.Develop, monitor, and implement internal accounting policies.
