Job SummaryThe Transport Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization's transport and heavy equipment fleet by leveraging data analytics, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position will ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, productivity, and reliability of transport assets, including cars, trucks, tippers, forklifts, excavators, and payloaders, while reducing downtime, optimizing maintenance costs, and improving fleet performance through data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, Finance, or a related discipline.Candidates with strong financial analytical backgrounds and ICAN qualification are encouraged to apply.Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, heavy equipment management, or operational excellence within construction, mining, logistics, manufacturing, or similar industries.Advanced data analysis and reporting skills.Strong ability to analyze data across multiple operational sub-functions and convert findings into actionable business insights.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
