Job Title: Mechanical Shift EngineerReports to: Mechanical LeadShift Pattern: Rotating Shifts (2D 2N 2O)Location: Port HarcourtJob Purpose:This position is responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of all port equipment. This role requires hands-on experience in preventative maintenance, fault identification and rapid response to breakdowns.Expected skillsTechnical skills:· Robust knowledge of Operation & maintenance of following MHS equipment.· Conveyor belts, Portal Reclaimer, Ship Loaders, Belt Bucket Elevators, Diesel / Gas generators.· Utilities such as pumps, compressors, STP etc.· Expertise in mechanical activities e.g. welding / gas cutting, machining, rigging etc.· Familiar with PTW systems such as Hot work, Height work, Confined space, LOTO etc.
