Job Description/RequirementsJob SummaryWe are currently seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Head of HSE to join our team. As the Head of HSE, you will be responsible for developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a safe working environment throughout the company.Job ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures in line with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.Manage and oversee all aspects of the company's health, safety, and environmental programs, including risk assessments, inspections, incident investigations, safety pep talks, and training for drivers to reduce accidents, as well as occupational health activities.Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations regarding transportation and workplace safety.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of health, safety, and environmental programs and recommend improvements as necessary.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in any Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar HSE role within the logistics or transportation industry, particularly involving trucks and drivers.
