Job Description
Purpose: Provides physical security and roving patrol to the APS-5 footprint to maintain a safe and secure working environment. Must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively carry out “detect, defer, observe and report” procedures to safeguard personnel and property in assigned areas. The position will be required to work as a roving patrol. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:1. Stands static guard posts and conducts roving patrols of the APS-5 footprint, as directed.2. Monitors and ensures proper identification of employees and visitors through access control points.3. Maintains entry and exit control logs and other required documentation.4. Follows detail instructions and procedures to accomplish work objectives in the performance of routine, repetitive standardized tasks.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred.
Experience
One (1) or more years of civilian and/or military security or law enforcement experience.
