Job Description

Purpose: The Security Guard Cleared position provides loss prevention and physical security to the site in order to maintain a safe and secure work environment. Must have the physical and mental capacity to effectively carry out detect, defer, observe and report process in order to safeguard property and personnel in assigned areas. The position will be required to work as a Roving Patrol. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Stands static guard posts and conducts roving patrols of the work-site areas.Monitors and ensures proper identification of employees and visitors through access control points.Maintains entry and exit control logs and other required documentation.Follows detail instructions and procedures to accomplish work objectives in the performance of routine, repetitive standardized tasks.Observes, monitors and reports all incidents and suspicious activities in a timely manner.Completes required paperwork in a timely and correct fashion.Sounds alarm and/or calls police, fire, and emergency personnel in case of fire or medical emergencies.
