Job Description

Job ObjectiveUnder a five-year contract, the Security Specialist will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Specifically, the Security Specialist will support the Command Element. The Command Element directs executive level management and the required command and control actions for command-wide mission execution. ResponsibilitiesProvide direct support to the Command Security Management OfficeProvide personnel with the ability to perform all security tasksSupport the handling, marking, storage, safeguarding, and destruction of classified material/information and Controlled Unclassified InformationVerify security clearances, initiate visit requests, and assist in the execution of security clearance proceduresPrepare reviews and assessments for government approvalReport to the MARCENT location at MacDill Air Force Base in the event that the security alarm is triggered when the primary Government Security personnel is not availableFollow the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) when performing the duties on this requirement
