Further information is available at www.bgis.comSUMMARYThe Building Automation System Operating Technologist is responsible for remotely operating Building Automation Systems (BAS) in BGIS-managed client facilities. You will implement day-to-day operator level control changes, review trend data to support trouble shooting efforts, implement changes for energy and operational optimization initiatives, and coordinate corrective actions for complex issues. Night position - shift hours 7pm-7am EST x 3 days a week - Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday night
Responsibilities & skills
Effective communication skills for the purpose of data relay, exchange, feedback, and clarification. (3 years)Mentoring skills required to support Junior BAS Operator development. (Asset)On-call/standby and emergency call - outs as they arise. Occasional extended hours. (Must be available)Programming, coding, on-site installation and/or maintenance of BAS. (Asset)
Education
College Diploma in a related discipline.BAS or Building Operations courses (Asset).Remote BAS operation for multiple facilities. (3 years)Demonstrated proficiency with BAS navigation, data-trend setting and extractions, trouble shooting. (3 years)

The Accounting and Reporting Assistant is supervised by the Accounting and Reporting Manager and provides support in all areas of financial management including operating payables, accounts debtors, audits, general finance as well as control, monitoring and establishment of expenses. This position also provides support to other staff in the areas of accounting and reporting.
