Our success is rooted in our passion for our clients and everything we do is centred on our delivery of Insurance Good and Proper.What will you do? Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Technical Accounting Officer to support the processing of premiums and claims, manage client queries, and assist with financial operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, and the ability to work effectively within a team.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and reconcile reinsurance premiums and claims accurately and timeouslyManage and respond to client emails and queries in a professional mannerInvestigate and resolve discrepancies or issues related to premiums and claimsPrepare and process payments in line with company proceduresMaintain accurate financial records and supporting documentationCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and service delivery What will make you successful in this role?Minimum RequirementsRelevant finance or accounting qualification or studying towards oneMinimum 2 years experience in insurance or financial services environments in a similar roleProficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. data analysis, reconciliations, basic formulas)Basic accounting knowledge (advantageous)Strong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
