This role reports into the Finance and Risk Manager.Job description Job PurposeThe main purpose of the role is to ensure that H&S requirements are met within the distribution Centre and to work closely with the security and facilities manager in overseeing risk and loss in the distribution centre. Job ObjectivesManage security service level agreementRisk related investigationsDeveloping and implementing security and safety programsMinimize financial loss related to theft, vandalism, accidents and injuriesDevelop ways for detecting safety issues and security violationsManage loss prevention processDevelop and implement and monitor H&S plan, processes and procedures and administration in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act, relevant by laws and SANS standardsEnsure timely and accurate reporting of results and corrective actions takenConducting quarterly risk and assessmentsManage cctv and service level agreement Minimum requirements JOB RELATED KNOWLEDGESound understanding of OHSAKnowledge of fire prevention systems JOB RELATED SKILLS Ability to communicate orally and written effectivelyAbility to prioritise numerous tasks and unexpected situationsPro efficient computer use and Microsoft office
