By working in our world class Research Design and Development department, these individuals have the opportunity to work alongside other leading technical specialists and highly motivated creative people, to develop products which fulfill our ambition of being truly different and better than our competitors.About the roleStudio Design Engineering team is responsible for building, managing and leading a high performing engineering functions within Design and Product Experience (D&PE), in additional supporting Colour, materials and finishing (CMF).With a strong combination of technical expertise and management skills, you will drive performance and reviews with senior stakeholders , set priorities while taking accountability for the quality and timeliness of their work from concept to production.Collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management in both UK and SEA, to make impactful recommendations and decisions to develop user-focussed solutions that meet the design intent with design for manufacturing and assembly in mind.
Responsibilities + Skills
Possess a good understanding of various production processes & engineering processes how they influence design and fabrication.Able to analyse, problem solving approach and provide recommendation.Being a the role model and fostering a high-performance culture.
Education
Highly motivated and collaborative taking ownership of projects and at the same time, being objective and responsive to feedback.Self-motivated, able to take initiative with the ability to work independently when needed.
