Being a pivotal role in the concept to production of a Dyson Designed Cell puts the Development team at the heart of this exciting journey. The Team will translate early concept directions into fully developed, optimised & validated solutions to make at high volume for the next generation of Dyson products.About the roleDevelopment of novel Cell technology comes with new and highly challenging manufacturing processes. You will join a team of technical specialists and work alongside these highly talented and creative individuals to fulfil our endeavors in researching and developing energy storage technologies. To meet Dyson’s growing energy storage requirements, your focus will be the production of prototype cells and you will be involved in the end-to-end process from chemical processing and roll-to-roll coatings, through preparation of materials and components, to the hands-on assembly of prototype cells using a combination of manual and automated processes.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Minimum Diploma in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or physical science discipline.
Experience
Experience with servo motors, Robot, PLC and HMI software will be an advantageAbility to read and understand mechanical & electrical schematics diagrams.
