Job Description
Mechanical Procurement is responsible for Commodity Strategy Development of the mechanics parts in our products. This include supplier selection, supplier management and commercial agreement supporting the Category Strategies and our Global Manufacturing Strategy. Our preferred suppliers play a vital part in supporting Dyson to stay competitive and driving towards a sustainable supply chain. The team continue to drive for value sourcing from the global supplier base and work very closely with the cross functional teams including our preferred suppliers to launch disruptive technologies on time, on volume, on quality and on cost, contributing to the top line and bottom line of Dyson.
Responsibilities + Skills
Manage supplier relationship, conduct supplier business review, complete scorecard and segmentationCommodity Market Intelligence responsible for gathering and informing stakeholders of the relevant market/supplier intelligence, globally, regionally and locally.
Education
Multi-sourcing activities collaborate closely with Procurement Engineering and RDD to implement alternative materials/manufacturing solutions for part designs.
