Job description
As an Aircraft Interior Manager, you will be responsible to collaborate with Technical Projects, aircraft manufacturers, design consultants and suppliers to develop future passenger experiences, aircraft interiors, premium aircraft seating, galley, monuments and products to introduce a unique interior design solution from concepts stage to the development of prototype through to finished products read for manufacturing and installationOther key responsibilities are:Manage all communication and responsibilities between Qatar Airways and its suppliers design and engineering department to establish the required processes during design development and establish specification of the design intent and goalsParticipate on a new aircraft definition, recommendation and selection along with the rest of the internal & external airline stakeholders. (i.e. Aircraft Manufactures, Technical Projects Team, Supplier Quality Team & affected teams)Handle Product and work scope definition and development through Initial Technical Coordination Meeting (ITCM), Preliminary Design Review (PDR) and Critical Design Review (CDR) with involved suppliers and internal stakeholders.
