Job Description:Mechanical Engineering InternQatar Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our team in Doha, Qatar! In this role, you will support mechanical design and coordination activities on infrastructure, transportation, and building projects, gaining exposure to real-world engineering workflows, tools, and standards in a professional consulting environment. You will work alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary teams, contributing to active engineering deliverables and design development activities. Interns are encouraged not only to learn, but also to contribute to project outputs, engage with engineering teams, and develop their professional skills through mentorship, professional exposure on live projects, and networking opportunities. What You’ll Be DoingDesign & Technical SupportAssisting in the preparation and updating of HVAC and mechanical building services designs, including ductwork, piping systems, and equipment layouts.Supporting development of mechanical drawings, schematics, and schedules using CAD tools.Assisting in basic engineering calculations (under supervision), such as cooling load inputs, airflow estimations, and equipment selection support.Supporting preparation of engineering deliverables, including drawings, reports, and technical documentation.MEP Systems CoordinationAssisting in coordinating mechanical systems with electrical and civil disciplines to ensure proper integration and space allocation.Supporting identification of design clashes and interface issues during multidisciplinary coordination.Participating in coordination discussions and tracking assigned actions and updates.
