Job description
We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and mechanical equipment within our facility. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing machinery to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.Key Responsibilities:1. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and mechanical equipment to identify potential issues.2. Perform preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules to ensure equipment reliability.3. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.4. Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems as needed.5. Calibrate machinery and equipment to maintain optimal performance.6. Collaborate with other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks and coordinate repairs.7. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, and repairs.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
- High school diploma or OND.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or similar role.- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
