Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and manage all operational activities of the gas-based power plant.Ensure the plant operates within its designed parameters to achieve optimal efficiency and performance.Develop and implement operational strategies to meet production targets and minimize downtime.Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance schedules are strictly followed.Monitor the condition of plant equipment and coordinate necessary repairs and upgrades.Collaborate with the maintenance team to reduce equipment failures and unplanned shutdowns.Ensure all operations comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.Promote a culture of safety by implementing and enforcing safety protocols and training programs.Lead, mentor, and develop a team of operators, engineers, and support staff.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Experience
A minimum of 24 years of experience in power plant operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Experience in managing Gas Turbine-based power plants is preferred.
