General Ledger Specialist Pursuing Professiona
Job description
Your new rolePrepare accounting reports and deliverables and ensure submission within agreed timelines.Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliation, monitor unusual items and movement, and investigate reconciling items.Meet Business Unit / client requirements/instructions and ensure on-time and on-quality deliverables.Bookkeeping and accounting entries to accounting system (e.g. accruals, adjustments).Responsible for timely preparation of accounts - weekly, month-end, financial year-end closing and aging/listings.Perform monthly income tax calculation if required.
Responsibilities & skills
Knowledge on some accounting software is an advantage such as Microsoft Navision, Xero, Oracle and SAP.Basic Microsoft Office skill is essential.
Education
At least an SPM, Diploma, Degree or in the midst of pursuing professional studies in accounting/financial or its equivalent.Fresh graduate or with 1 year relevant working experience in accounting, finance or relevant field of work.
