Job Description
Part of this transformation involves a program of removing £500m from our cost base over 3 years and our Procurement team are a pivotal to that process. If you are a procurement professional who is confident handling complex negotiations to achieve cost-savings at pace, then we want to hear from you! You'll need to be savvy with Digital & Tech; this is a huge growth lever for us as a business (with an annual spend of circa £350m), so you will need to have detailed knowledge of that marketplace as well as understanding how to deliver commercial solutions to senior partners. Key Accountabilities: Building meaningful and close relationships with senior partners, advising on commercial strategy and contractual solutions, including SLA’s and contractual remedies. Being a procurement business partner to the Digital and Technology team; challenging, advising and supporting partners and suppliers to deliver more for our customers Understanding supplier markets relating to Technology, Digital and Data Category

Detailed Procurement experience gained across the Technology category (a particular focus on retail would be desirable)
