As Manager, AI Models, you'll join Westpac's independent Model Risk team, helping ensure AI models across the Group are robust, well governed and fit for purpose.It's an exciting time to join the team. With investment secured to grow the Enterprise Models function and increasing focus on AI and machine learning across the Group, you'll have the opportunity to work on some of the bank's most strategic and evolving model risk challenges.Working across machine learning, generative AI and agentic models, you'll conduct independent model validations, partner with business and risk teams, and contribute to the ongoing evolution of model risk management practices. You'll bring technical expertise, strong stakeholder skills and a curiosity for emerging technologies while helping shape how AI is used responsibly across the bank.This is a permanent full time opportunity based in Sydney / Warrane, Gadigal Country with hybrid working arrangements available.
