Full job descriptionThe opportunityA Victorian Local Council is seeking an experienced ICT Procurement Specialist to manage the procurement activities and ongoing maintenance for the organisations ICT contracts.This is an opportunity to put your own stamp on setting up processes and frameworks to develop the ICT procurement function within the council.Role specificationsResponsible for the full procurement lifecycle, from category planning to sourcing strategy, tendering, execution, contract management, and relationship management for the ICT team and floating Procurement support to other areas of the business.Advises on the business case for alternative sourcing models. Advises on policy and procedures covering tendering, the selection of suppliers and procurement.
