The key accountabilities include:Database administration and operationsPlatform engineering and optimisationData security and complianceBackup, recovery, and disaster recovery servicesWe embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working. Core Duties:Lead and mentor the Database Services team, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused cultureContribute to DDC Hosting & Network leadership strategies, policies, and best practicesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance systems, processes, and efficiencyDevelop succession plans and maximise team capability and ROIOversee end-to-end delivery of database services, including:Enterprise DBA and operations (primary focus)Platform engineering and optimisation (on-prem & cloud)
