Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Infrastructure Automation Engineer to drive and enhance our infrastructure automation initiatives. This role will lead the Infrastructure Automation Team, with all Infra Automation Engineers reporting to this position. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automation frameworks for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and Day-2 operations automation.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform, along with a strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation pipelines, and modern DevOps practices. This role requires both technical leadership and team management skills to mentor and guide the team while aligning automation strategies with business objectives.
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Develop and lead the automation strategy to improve efficiency in infrastructure provisioning and management.Define and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices using Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.Automate Day-2 operations, including patching, configuration drift remediation, monitoring, backup, and incident response.Ensure high availability, scalability, and security within automated processes.
