Job Description
As the Associate Team Leader, Manufacturing, you will be responsible for supervising the shopfloor operations of one or more work centers with general responsibility for safety, quality, and compliance. The Team Leader will maintain a skilled manufacturing team of 12-15 employees responsible to deliver consistently high-quality products and services in a safe, resources-efficient and cost-effective manner. What will you do? OperationsConduct advanced level troubleshooting/ problem solving through Thermofisher PPI Business System for line issues and implement preventive actions where possibleLead the team in day-to-day operation to achieve operational goalsHandle, plan and provide shopfloor resources to meet daily operational plansResponsible to report out team performance and provide timely feedback on disruptions to shopfloor operationsResolve shift level issues and handle shift to shift communication - clear passdown of line issues, outputs, follow ups, etc.Enhance employee relations and establish a psychological safe environmentReview cross team support to fulfill production build plansSupport department and cross team productivity and cost saving activities
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
Conduct Gemba with purpose to identify area of improvements and take necessary actions to address themEnsure safety, operational procedures and 5S are closely observed and adhered to across Array Manufacturing operations, complying to sites EH&S and QMS policies/ guidelines.
Experience
1 to 3 years experience in a supervisory position, preferably in high volume manufacturing environmentMore than 3 years experience in shopfloor manufacturing planning will be considered
