Full job descriptionQatar Airways is looking for highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect for Cloud to join our fast-paced team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that align with our business goals and technical requirements. You will be responsible for leading the architectural design and technical decisions related to cloud infrastructure and services.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop cloud-based architectures, frameworks, and solutions that align with the organization's overall business objectives and requirements.Design, deploy, and maintain containerized applications on the Kubernetes PlatformsOversee the integration of cloud solutions with existing systems and applications.Lead and mentor cloud engineering and development teams in best practices and cloud architecture principles.Conduct performance assessments and recommend optimizations for cloud-based systems.Monitor cloud resources to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost management.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in cloud architecture and implementation and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Education
Develop code for conducting Proof of Concepts to experiment and learn New Functionality/Technology
Experience
Proven experience working with modern technologies like Redis, API Management, and Service Mesh, Image RegistriesDemonstrative experience in developing and maintaining Terraform (IaC) code for deploying various resources into cloud using continuous release pipelines.
