Full job descriptionDuties & Responsibilities: The Center for Sustainable Development is looking to fill a full-time Assistant Research Professor position in renewable energy to further support the Center in developing its multi-disciplinary research activities. This includes advanced territorial analysis of renewable energy resources (solar), renewable energy systems, Photovoltaic (PV) Systems, Floating-PV, and the integration of renewable energy into water production (desalination), and food production (Agri-PV). The candidate is expected to demonstrate an interest in multi-disciplinary research collaboration on other topics within the Pathways to Sustainability Development. 1. The candidate is expected to teach in areas of expertise and co-supervise students in accordance with QU policy.2. The candidate is also expected to Contribute to various committees at the Center, College, and University levels.3. The successful candidate is also expected to lead or collaborate simultaneously in multiple projects in line with the CSD vision and Qatar National Research Priorities.
