Job Description
The purpose of this role will be to play a key part in the maintenance of new and existing Tech services across the nationwide programme, working closely with the Security Ops Manager to providing technical support to them and senior stakeholders.The following technical experience is required:Hands-on experience using Microsoft Sentinel and Microsoft Defender suiteExperience working in a hybrid environment (on-prem, SaaS, and cloud service) and applying Cyber Security practices.Identify and mitigate network vulnerabilities and provide long-term solutions to avoid repeat issues.Familiarity with tools such as: Tenable, Nessus, NMAP, Kali Linux, Elastic, or similar
Responsibilities + Skills
Demonstrated experience of working within a Te Ao Mori environment and understanding Tikanga Mori, and/or substantial experience working within a bicultural context with diverse communities and/or organisations
Education
Experience
Knowledge of the Protective Security Requirements (PSR), New Zealand Information Security Manual (NZISM), ISO 27001/27002, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Australian Signals Directorate Information Security Registered Assessors Program (ASD IRAP), OWASP or other similar frameworks.
