Job Description

As an STMS you'll be responsible for monitoring traffic conditions, coordinating responses to incidents, and ensuring the safety of road users. You'll work in a dynamic environment managing traffic flow and minimise disruptions. Implement traffic management plans to optimise flow during roadworks. Provide real-time updates to drivers through variable message signs and other communication channels. Maintain accurate records of incidents, responses, and traffic data.What you'll need to succeedAs an STMS, you will ensure the accurate following of temporary traffic management plans and oversee set up and pack down of road closures and diversions.You will be confident leading toolbox and closure briefings with crew, whilst providing clear job details and expectations for TMO’s.Willing and able to train and upskill our Traffic Controllers and junior STMS’A valid STMS warrant (be it A/B or Level 1/2)Be physically fit and able to carry out manual tasksShow commitment to safe work practices
