The Checkpoint where the Log Scalers work is a facility where logging trucks and trains come to have their logs measured and ticketed ready for export. The Log Scaler manually scales or measures each log using an international standard, then barcodes the log and scans it into our system so that every single log can be tracked wherever it is.
