GREAT TEAM, AWARD WINNING CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL, GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!!!! The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for promoting and maintaining quality patient care through effective management of the activities of the total Patient Care Services during their assigned shift. In the absence of the Administrator and/or designee, the Nursing Supervisor has the authority and responsibility for administrative decisions while utilizing knowledge of standards, policies and procedures outlined for the institution. The Nursing Supervisor is also responsible for facilitation of throughput; including placement of admissions and transfers. Essential Responsibilities:CMMC Supervisor Nurse (RN) will report to the Nurse Leader of Central Staffing, BH and RH Supervisor Nurse (RN) will report to the V.P. of Nursing.Facilitation of throughput by demonstrating effective communication, utilization of throughput resources, and strong clinical decision-making skills.Placement of all patient admissions and transfersUpdates and collaborates with the Administrator on-call and/or specific department leadership
