Job Summary: Supervise shift operations of assigned area of Power Plant to ensure efficient running of operations.Key Duties & Responsibilities:To look after the shift operations of assigned area of Power Plant efficiently.Monitoring & Control of Parameters for all the equipment in the assigned area.Recording of all the operating parameters and maintaining records of respective area.Proper Handling of emergencies in respective assigned area.Independently handling the power plant control room operation.Independently handling the operation and control of DCS.To manage process and service units startups and shutdowns competently without affecting units that are to remain online.To assist the shift manager for handling emergenciesTo look after the shift operations of assigned area efficiently and effectively to avoid stoppage/trip of plant equipment due to human error.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering with Power option, or its equivalent in a relevant discipline.
Experience
A minimum of five (5) years relevant work experience in gas based power plant with minimum of Two (2) year experience in Control room.
