We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our wood joinery factory team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cost estimation within the woodworking or manufacturing industry, with a deep understanding of material costs, labour, and overhead. This role is critical in ensuring accurate project pricing and sustaining profitability.Key Responsibilities:Cost Estimation:Prepare detailed cost estimates for joinery products, including raw materials, labour, and machine usage.Collaborate with production teams to understand manufacturing workflows and identify cost impacts.Provide accurate breakdowns for custom orders such as cabinetry, doors, and furniture.Pricing Strategy:Develop pricing strategies to maintain competitiveness while maximizing profitability.Work with sales and management to finalize client pricing based on estimates and market factors.Regularly review and update pricing structures in line with material cost changes.Material Management:Liaise with procurement to verify and update material pricing.
