ResponsibilitiesPlan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectivesAnalyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stockCollaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scalesMaximise customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriatelyProduce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventoryForecast profits/sales and plan budgetsMonitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etc
Responsibilities & skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skillsStrong listening, presentation and decision making skills
Education
HND/BSC degree in Marketing or related field
Experience
3-5 years proven working experience in merchandisingHighly creative with experience in identifying target
