JOB DESCRIPTION FOR SECOND ENGINEER:· Scheduling and directing maintenance inside the engine room.· Reporting on the plant conditions and needs to the chief engineer.· Monitoring the vessel's systems to ensure that they are operating safely and efficiently.· Troubleshooting any problems that arise with the vessel's systems.· Performing preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
BSC/HND in Marine Engineering or in any related field.Minimum of 3-5 years work experience
