Job description
Key Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of all tools and equipment in the workshop.Regularly perform physical counts and reconcile any discrepancies between the physical inventory and records.Create and keep detailed records for each tool and piece of equipment, including purchase date, maintenance history, and usage logs.Ensure that all records are in compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies.Implement an organized system for storing tools and equipment to ensure easy retrieval.Categorize tools based on type, usage, and frequency to optimize workshop efficiency.Monitor and track the maintenance schedules for tools and equipment.Coordinate with maintenance staff to ensure timely servicing and repairs.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
HND/BSc in any Engineering discipline
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of cognate work experience in inventory monitoring and management
