Instrumentation Maintenance Engineer
Job description
Summary:The Instrumentation Engineer performs scheduled maintenance and preventative repairs on all instrument systems, equipment, and machinery. The person hired in this posion will also review maintenance schedules and adjust them as necessary to keep systems functioning at peak levels. The ideal candidate will direct all activities related to supervising personnel engaged in the repair, modification, and installation of new and existing equipment and facility maintenance.
Responsibilities & skills
3. Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems will be an added advantage.4. Experience with integrated drives with PLC control5. Bachelors degree preferred in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience in the manufacturing
Education
2. The Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimising the process departmentsSCADA systems, so that a high level of data integrity and plant availability is maintained
