Full job descriptionJob Summary:The project head oversees project officers and managers who have been assigned certain tasks to complete for a given project. The project head manages all ongoing projects across the organization and follow up with contractors and vendors to ensure that each phase of a project proceeds and gets completed as planned.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Oversee the activities of project officers and managers in order to ensure that required tasks can be accomplished in due timeDevelops a timeline for the completion of certain milestones for a given projectCreates a budget for the completion of a particular job, and monitor expenditures in order to ensure the project cost does not exceed required budget
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Bsc or HND in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related fields. Masters Degree is an added advantage
Experience
Professional certification in PMP and other relevant professionOther Engineering body certificate.Experience in negotiating and managing contractsProven experience in infrastructure maintenance and optimization
