Full job descriptionThe ideal candidate will have experience in financial management within the agricultural sector, possessing a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within this industry. The Financial Controller will play a critical role in overseeing all financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning.Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:· Develop and implement financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.· Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights to senior management for optimizing profitability and operational efficiency.· Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions as needed.Financial Reporting and Compliance:· Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, in compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.· Coordinate external audits and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting obligations.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Experience
10+ years of progressive experience in financial management, with a focus on agribusiness or related industries.
