Job Description/RequirementsJOB PURPOSE:This role is suitable for a sound HSSE Professional with a strong bias for Environmental monitoring, compliance and management.It entails continuously improving environmental performance, facilitating compliance with DIL Group/ DCP HSSE and Sustainability Policies, Standards, and Guidelines, as well as promoting and supporting industry compliance and regulatory environmental standards. Additionally, it is crucial to ensure effective implementation of all EMS programs, procedures, training, work practices, and controls.Job Responsibilities:Identify and understand the environmental issues that affect Dangote Cement Plant, Ibese, its products, suppliers, contractors, and the wider industry. Establish the implications and develop appropriate plans to address these issues.Primary responsibility for supporting the response to an environmental emergency.Support to maintain relevant environmental management systems/certifications, etc.
