Full job descriptionJob Summary:The Asset Officer is responsible for the management of assets such as capital, commodities, stocks, precious metals, bonds, and real estate. He/she manages assets owned, leased and subleased by an organization or an individual. The Asset officer makes recommendations on what assets to acquire through comprehensive research of these assets.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct and report on due diligence activities as requiredPrepare accurate costs of works for Renewals and maintenance.Conduct asset inspections as required or as directed.Maintain a strong customer focus on all duties and work carried out.General correspondence and report writing.Stay up to date with the latest construction methods, equipment, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
Responsibilities & skills
Education
Bachelors degree in business, finance or related field
Experience
3 - 5 years experience as an Asset OfficerStrong financial background with knowledge of real estateHighly computer literate and proficient in Microsoft SuiteExcellent project management skills
