Compliance & Employee Relations Specialist

To advise on industrial relations related matters including but not limited to counselling & disciplinary matters, termination, grievances, investigations, and employment legislation. This role will contribute to the maintenance, development and implementation of policies and procedures, in alignment with current Malaysian legislation and industry best practice.Works with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the business adopts an effective approach in engaging staff on matters in relations to IR. Point of contact to advise on industrial related matters including but not limited to counselling & disciplinary matters, termination, grievances, investigations, and employment legislation. This role will contribute to the maintenance, development and implementation of policies and procedures, in alignment with current Malaysian legislation and industry best practice. Works with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the business adopts an effective approach in engaging staff on matters in relations to IR. What are you accountable for?Manage industrial relations matters such as comprehensive planning in resolving company-wide disciplinary matters - including conducting investigation and holding domestic inquiries.Provide support, guidance and recommendations to the business process labour disputes and grievances in a proper and timely manner . Monitor and ensure Company-wide compliance by educating managers on a range of employment laws topics to ensure legal compliance

Preventive education and process enhancement to fix current gaps and loopholes which includes best practice sharing to employees in townhalls, employee engagement opportunities by updating the latest policies adopted by forward leaning companies that Maxis aspires to be and keeping Maxis abreast with the latest in this field
