Job responsibilities:Contract management and resolution of legal matters related to commercial contracts.Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of business contracts, agreements, documents etc.Manage country legal/compliance projects to ensure areas needing change and improvement are acted upon.Provide legal advisory to internal stakeholders. Gain better understanding of the business and its various processes to enhance the quality of legal advice given.Build and maintain long-term relationships with external legal advisors/legal community to keep up to date with laws, regulations, and best practices.Assist the Head of Legal in MY and SG legal matters.

Education
Handling of trademarks - manage and keep track of Group Trademarks, functioning as the key liaison with trademark solicitorsAdvise on issues relating to litigation matters and debt recovery actions, including monitoring of status of cases.
Experience
Qualified to practice law. Admission to the Malaysian Bar is preferred.Minimum eight to ten years experience practicing law in a law firm with business law orientation or in the in-house legal department of an organization, ideally locally listed
