Job Description

The MEP Project Manager will be responsible for managing and executing the full lifecycle of MEP projects, with a specialized focus on Plumbing, Fire Fighting (PL/FF), and Electrical systems. The role includes planning, coordinating, and supervising all MEP activities from design review through execution, commissioning, and handover. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical knowledge, leadership ability, and at least 15 years of hands-on experience in the MEP field.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning and implementation of MEP (Electrical and PL/FF) works across multiple project sites.Review and validate MEP designs, ensuring compliance with project requirements, local regulations, and international codes (e.g., NFPA, NEC).Oversee project budgeting, scheduling, material procurement, manpower allocation, and subcontractor coordination.Manage the execution of site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery.Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and fire protection systems.Coordinate closely with consultants, clients, and in-house teams for design approvals, inspections, and handover.Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.Ensure all documentation including shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and as-built drawings are accurately prepared and submitted.Conduct regular project progress meetings and prepare detailed status reports for senior management.Mentor and manage site engineers, supervisors, and technicians for high performance and compliance.
