Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in operating plant and equipment safely and efficiently to ensure our production targets are met. You’ll help maintain our high standards of quality, safety and operational performance while supporting the smooth running of the site.What you’ll be doingOperating plant and equipment to meet or exceed production targetsCompleting daily production reporting and operator preventative maintenance tasksEnsuring Health & Safety rules and company policies are always followedSupporting continuous improvement across process, plant and production areasBalancing production line operation and cleaning dutiesBuilding positive working relationships with production and maintenance colleaguesEnsuring high-quality products are produced efficientlyMaintaining good timekeeping and flexibilityWhat we’re looking forYou’ll bring proven experience in a similar production or manufacturing environment along with:Strong communication and numeracy skillsA teamfocused approachExperience with manual handlingReliability and willingness to work a continental shift patternWillingness to work 24/7 continental shift pattern. Rota: 12hr shift pattern averaging 42hrs per week.Week 1 Mon Tues night shift followed by Fri/Sat/Sun day shift (60hrs)Week 2 Wed/Thurs night shift (24hrs).Week 3 Mon/Tues day shift followed by Fri/Sat/Sun night shift (60hrs).Week 4 Wed/Thurs day shift (24hrs)
