The location of the candidate can be flexible but you must be flexible to travel to the Blocks plants.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityReporting to the Product Line Director, in the role of Senior Operations Manager you will be responsible for:Overall accountability for the safety, leadership, development and performance of the Aircrete Block sitesAct as the key member of the Blocks Leadership team and contributor to the overall strategic plan for the businessDelivering transformational plans to fundamentally shift the scale and performance of the UK operation and unlock full potential of CRH/Tarmac capabilityBuild links with CRH worldwide manufacturing businesses (Amercias, Europe & International domains) to deliver best in class performanceLead operational performance growth, delivering year-on-year OEE improvements, minimise waste and deliver energy (gas & electricity) reduction targetsLead the business optimisation plan, generating tangible performance improvements across all operational areas
