Our innovative products and solutions not only deliver the infrastructure needed to grow the UK economy today but also help to create a more sustainable built environment for the country’s long-term future.We are currently looking for a Plant Coordinator to join our friendly team based at Tunstead in Buxton.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityIn the role of Plant Coordinator you will be play a key role in liaising with and supporting all departments in the plant and responsible for:Act as the owner for administration processes and P2P enquiries ensuring that they are all robust and that plant records are up to dateResponsible for the administration and project tracking of all Tunstead cement-based projects circa £2m including external liaison with contractors.Reviewing and forecasting fixed and variable costs on the plant along with proactively challenging spending and reducing costs.As a vital member of the team, the Plant Coordinator will possess the skills and attributes necessary to collaborate with all the teams across the plant and liaise with external contractors as necessary.
