This role is commutable from Quorn, Loughborough, Leicester, Melton Mowbray, Coalville, Shepshed, Syston, Glenfield, Ibstock, Sileby, Kegworth, Nottingham, Derby, Grantham, Matlock, Tunstead, Derby, Dene, Ashbourne, Oakham, Bardon Hill and the surrounding areas.Here at Tarmac, we are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds.Role ResponsibilityThe Lead Multi Skilled Operative will report to the ‘Phase 2’ Supervisor and will lead the operations of this phase in our plant whilst on your assigned shift. Safety and operational standards are the fundamentals of the role; with additionally supporting cost control, people management, delivery to customer needs and performance improvement. Driving the management of plant compliance with our business policies and procedures and ensuring that legislative compliance is also a strong aspect of the role.Key Tasks and Responsibilities of the Lead Multi Skilled Operative, not exhaustive:Lead the Phase 2 Backshift operational team under your reporting line
