This role is commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.We are working hard to create a dynamic and inclusive environment and it’s important that our people come from a variety of different backgrounds, therefore prior technical experience isn’t always necessary for success.Role ResponsibilityAs the Internal Sales Coordinator you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team and the Tarmac group.Other responsibilities for this role will include (not exhaustive):Keep updated with the product range and develop in-depth knowledge of the Tarmac Aggregate and AsphaltSupporting the raising and pricing of quotes that will process to order conversion or query resolutionsWork with the team converting enquiries into orders, respond to sales calls and emailsDemonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with customersPrioritise and multitask daily dutiesUnderstanding and assessing customer needsRepresent the company and its core valuesDevelop and maintain relationships with new and existing customersEngage with the customer to better understand requirements
