Through external suppliers, we manage approximately one third of AstraZeneca’s value of production, ensuring robust supply chains that deliver value to our company. Our ESM team also supports New Product Introduction through external supply, integrating companies and products that AstraZeneca acquires, and driving innovation through supply chain programs. We are seeking an External Operations Lead who will have ultimate accountability for the overall supply performance of assigned external suppliers within AstraZeneca’s ESM network. Working with key functions (Quality, Technical, Regulatory, Global Supply Chain, etc.) within ESM and the supplier, you'll ensure timely delivery of high-quality products to customers and patients at the most effective cost. Your primary responsibilities will include supply performance, issue resolution, risk management, change management, continuous improvement, strategy development and overseeing supplier compliance to company and external requirements.
